Let Go or Be Dragged:

I caught the tail end of an interview with Jerry Granelli, jazz drummer of Jerry Granelli Trio. He was referring to his newest work, “Let Go” but what he said following spoke volumes to me. “Let go or be dragged.” Perfect!

Let go? Hell, no! It seems we would rather get dragged.

Look what happens when we fight the water. We sink. Learn instead to float. Let go. Meditate. Let go. Stop at an amber light instead of running it. Let go of worry about the economy. Be in this moment. And when you go to work, apply for a job, or wash dishes – be in that moment (which at that time, will be “this moment”.) Plan your days, but then let go of your outline. Let go. Let God.
